All RSS feeds can now have category feeds automatically, courtesy the FeedBlitz RSS service. Simply add /tag/ and then the category to any FeedBlitz RSS feed and the filter is applied.
http://feeds.feedblitz.com/feedblitz/tag/features,rss
Or, include multiple tag definitions, like this:
http://feeds.feedblitz.com/feedblitz/tag/features/tag/rss
You can also mix "tag" and "not" like this:
http://feeds.feedblitz.com/feedblitz/tag/features/not/rss
All these tag filters work for the XML RSS feed, the browser (and SEO) friendly HTML versions, and the mobile versions that FeedBlitz generates automatically.
- So here is the main FeedBlitz News feed: http://feeds.feedblitz.com/feedblitz
- And here is every post tagged "features": http://feeds.feedblitz.com/feedblitz/tag/features
- And here is every post NOT tagged "features": http://feeds.feedblitz.com/feedblitz/not/features

I just signed up for a trial period because of this functionality, and will keep using FB as a paying subscriber if it works because it is so important to my blog as I blog about vastly different industries and don't want my readers to have to see posts in industries unrelated to theirs.
Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to work. Namely, entering the category-specific URL in my browser, for instance http://feeds.feedblitz.com/growthtimes/tag/market/ (for my old blog), the filter is applied. However, if I subscribe to the feed or ask for emails, the filter does not work.
Also, I added 2 custom fields to my newsletter subscription but they do not appear in the admin area and I cannot delete them (although they do appear when one subscribes to the newsletter).
Last, it's very unclear how to set up FB in wordpress... I'll keep digging but I am finding FB much less user-friendly than I initially expected for a paying service.
So far I am quite confused with setup. I hope to hear from support!
Hi @Greg:
Support is the place to seek help, not the comments! We'll be in touch :)

Indeed, and that was fast. Thanks Phil!
All problems solved, including that filter that was not applied to the subscription options - now it works great. This is definitely a key differentiator for Feedblitz compared to other services-that-shall-not-be-named! I think you're the only one who enables RSS-to-email filtered by tag and category on Wordpress and that makes you a winner as far as I am concerned.
Keep up the good work, and thanks again.
